I have a spacious double bedroom available to rent in my modern townhouse.

You will be living with 2 lovely girls here who have been here for a number of years and who are both studying part masters degrees in central London on top of their day jobs.

The room is available as I am going on a sabbatical with my partner and then planning to return to London in late 2026!

The house:

The house is a modern 3 floor townhouse located in a quiet residential road, close to Gipsy Hill and West Dulwich and within walking distance of the trendy Crystal Palace Triangle and West Norwood.

There is a decent size garden in the house that faces to the South East.

The house comes with the following:

• Fully working Gas Central Heating (GCH);
• Kitchen (with gas cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine and microwave, plus kitchen utensils and other cooking equipment);
• Modern 3 piece bathroom suite;
• Spare downstairs toilet;
• Study to work/guest room;
• Back garden;
• Large living room with big comfy sofas;
• Unlimited fibre broadband;
• Free off street parking;

The room:

It is a large double room on the middle floor of the house and is offered furnished. There is a large wardrobe, bedside cabinet, a desk and chair and a double bed and mattress.

The rent is £700 per month including all bills (gas, water, electric, council tax and ultra-fast fiber broadband). A deposit of £400 will be required. This will be refunded at the end of the contract/your stay if there is no material damages.

The location:

The home is 5-10 minutes’ walk from West Dulwich and Gipsy Hill with shops and local amenities. The Crystal Palace Triangle and West Norwood are 15 minutes’ walk away for local bars, restaurants and cafes and also hip Brixton, Clapham and Peckham are nearby as well. Dulwich Park, Crystal Palace Park and Norwood Park are also very close if you want to escape to nature!

The nearest train stations are Gipsy Hill, West Norwood and West Dulwich and Sydenham Hill, which are a short 10-15 minutes’ walk, from the house. There are frequent trains to London Bridge and London Victoria. Crystal Palace and Tulse Hill train stations are also within 30 minutes’ walk away, for London Overground to East London, and Thameslink services for direct trains to Luton and Gatwick Airport.

For buses, there is a direct bus (night bus as well) to Oxford Circus, passing through Brixton (for the Victoria tube line) and plenty of other bus options from either West Norwood or Crystal Palace bus terminus.
