Description
We are looking for a new flatmate to share a bright and spacious flat between East Dulwich and Peckham – the flat is a split level maisonette with a shared garden, on a lovely quiet road. Turning right out of the flat you will find yourself on Peckham Rye, with buses available on a frequent basis that can get you up to Peckham Rye Station (Zone 2) in 5/6 mins. Turning left, you will find yourself around the corner from Uplands road, which is vibrant road with the Actress pub and a number of shops, and will take you down to Lordship Lane which has a M&S and Coop, along with a number of places to eat and drink, plus the Dulwich Picturehouse.
The available room is a single room or a small double room. Please note that there is no bed. At the moment, I have put a single bed for myself (and I'm happy for you to keep it if you need) but that a double bed fits as well if you wish (the previous tenant has a double bed in there) – it is a bright room, with a big window allowing for lots of natural light. In terms of storage, there is not much space though there is shelving on the walls and an external cupboard on the landing which is reserved for your use. There is one bathroom, a purpose built kitchen and a large shared living room at the front of the flat with a couple of sofas and small dining table.
At the moment, me, Ella and Alfie live there together. I have loved living in the property but I'm now moving out of London so can't keep the room! I'm very sad about leaving such a lovely and quiet home! Alfie has been here for around 3 years and works as a music teacher and Ella has just moved in recently! The flat is friendly and relaxed and we're looking for a similar personality to take over, who is also happy to pitch in with keeping the flat clean and wants to maintain a nice living environment for everyone. We are all in our 30s and whilst we are out and about fairly regularly, we are keen for the flat to remain somewhere that is a chilled out space. This is not a party flat and is a quiet, clean and respectful space.
The room is £594 a month, with bills coming to around £100-£130. We are looking to have someone from 14th of July onwards - but there's flexibility with the dates 🙂 We are looking for someone who does not work from home full time - you also must be in full time employment and pass reference checks with the lettings agency.
