Hello!
We have two lovely rooms available in our lovely 4 bedroom house in beautiful leafy Dulwich.
We are the upper flat of a period house on East Dulwich Grove which includes 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, large living room and a spare room! One of the highlights of the house is the large, peaceful garden which we share with our lovely neighbours below. There is plenty of room in the flat, so we never feel on top of each other and given it's location, its very easy to forget you are in the big smoke- Photos don't do it justice!
Transport links are plenty- the house is 3 minutes from North Dulwich train station that goes directly to London Bridge and there are bus stops right outside the house heading to Brixton, Peckham and Liverpool Street. Herne Hill station is a short walk away with trains going to Victoria station Kings Cross, Blackfriars/Farringdon/City Thames.
Dulwich village is just around the corner from our house which has a variety of quaint shops, restaurants, a local pub and Dulwich park is just a little further past the village. We are also within a 10 minute walk from Lordship Lane (East Dulwich) and Herne Hill which boasts lots of shops, bars, live music and restaurants.
Our house share is a relaxed but sociable vibe; we all have our own things going on, but often hang out together in the evenings, cook together, go for walks, pub stops, brunch and beach trips.
We have a mixture of working from home and in the office so there is nearly always someone in and we would prefer for new flatmates to also not work exclusively from home. We all do our bit to keep the house clean and tidy - this is a non-negotiable for us!
Bedroom number one is the huge master bedroom (it’s as big as the living room!) on the first floor. It is very spacious and looks out on the garden. One of the bathrooms is located right in front of the room, and we’re open to discussing the option of making it exclusive if desired, we can work details at a later stage. This rooms rent is £1025.
The second bedroom is on the second floor alongside our two bedrooms. Again it is a very spacious room (second biggest in the house) and gets a lot of light throughout the day- great if you love your plants! The rent for this room is £825.
Bills come to approximately £110 a month each. With the Deposit being equivalent to 5 weeks rent so approx £1000 (tbc). There is also a once off £50 name change fee that is always paid by the incoming tenant, which will be paid when signing the contract.
Ideally we are looking for two female professional in their late 20’s to 30’s to join us who will love the flat as much as we do :)
