Double room available in friendly home in W Ealing

We have a room to rent in an owner occupied house.

The house is in a great location – 8 minutes walk from West Ealing and 12 minutes from Ealing Broadway, in a leafy area close to parks and shops. The house has three floors – your room is on the top floor. It’s a warm, sunny room which has blackout blinds and a velux window. It’s furnished with an extremely comfortable double bed, bedside table and chest of drawers, though we can be flexible and will try to provide suitable furniture for your needs. We can provide bedding - sheets/duvet/duvet covers/pillows/pillow cases and towels if needed.

There is a second small room on the top floor which you can use as a sitting room or working space. It now contains a comfortable single chair bed and a folding table. We very rarely need to go up there so the space is private and quiet. There’s a bathroom on the ground floor which will be mainly for your use only. The house has a large kitchen, dining room, conservatory and lounge which are shared and a moderate size garden. There is a TV in the lounge and broadband wifi. There’s space to store a bike securely.

About us: married couple in our early 50s (but young at heart!), both working professionals, friendly and chatty, enjoy cooking, running, cycling, wine and socialising.

About you: working professional or mature student, non smoker, please only apply if you are reasonably clean and tidy. If you’re keen on exercise that’s a plus but not essential!

The room would suit someone looking to live in a safe and accessible area in a clean, quiet house. Happy to consider short term or Monday to Friday only. Viewings available in person or we can give you a tour on Zoom.

6 month contract – all utility bills included – if we’re all happy this could be extended

1 month rent as deposit
