0-5 minutes walk away
Description
Large double room available in a very spacious five bedroom house located in quiet residential surroundings five minutes from South Ealing and Northfields Tube stations. Council tax included.
The bedroom comes furnished with a double bed (different to the bed pictured), a desk and office chair, a mirror, a bookcase with cupboards, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a night stand, some small shelving units, some lighting and a storage trunk.
There’s an incredibly large living room (51 m/sq) with large corner sofa, dining table and a TV.
The kitchen is large (28 m/sq) and fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, combined washer-dryer, five-hob gas oven, a large fridge and separate freezer, and a six-seater table. Each housemate has a shelf in the fridge and their own cupboard. There’s communal crockery and cutlery as well as cooking equipment.
The house has three bathrooms (though one is an ensuite). The main bathroom has both a shower and bath.
There’s a great garden with a large outdoor sofa, lockable bike stands, as well as a large garden table that sits eight, a BBQ and large hammock.
Resident permit street parking is available and you can normally find a space very close to the house.
Current housemates:
- Zoe: An avid gardener and big rugby fan who works at Kew Gardens.
- Pri: Currently training as a GP. You’ll always know when Pri is home from work because there’ll be delicious smells coming from the kitchen!
- Manraj: Loves music and plays guitar, works with the Department for Work and Pensions
- Danielle: who is moving home to Canada at the end of February and will be replaced by a friend of Zoe’s who also works at Kew.
- Luna: a sweet, loveable cat. She’s enough to look after by herself, so one pet is the limit and we won’t be able to take in any more. You might be asked to feed her and keep an eye out.
We're a friendly house and watch films together, host BBQ's, celebrate birthdays etc. Everyone in the house is in their late twenties, and we would be looking for someone similar in age ideally.
The bills (council tax band F, electricity and gas, water rates, TV license, and WiFi) come to £100-£120 per person per month.
You’re a five minute walk away from local shops (two small Sainsbury’s Locals and a larger Co-op) as well as South Ealing and Northfields high streets with their tube stations, and some great coffee shops, local pubs and restaurants.
The lovely Lamas, Walpole and Gunnersbury parks are also a short walk away.
Central London is half an hour on the Piccadilly Line while Ealing Broadway (on the Central Line, District Line and Elizabeth Line) with its shopping centres and cinema is 20 min walk away or a short bus ride.
All tenants sign their own contract. The tenancy agreement is for six months, then moves to a rolling monthly contract with each party being able to give a months’ notice. At least one written reference from previous landlord or your employer is required.
A month’s rent will be required to hold a room as a non-refundable holding deposit and the room will not be considered taken until this has been received. Those holding deposits will be passed on to the Deposit Protection Scheme, and you will receive confirmation that this has been done.
We can host viewings in person and online, so please do get in touch via this website.
The room is available from the afternoon of February 8th.
