Female flatmate wanted in a spacious 2-bed flat

Hi! My name is Nunt and I’ve been living here very happily for almost 2 years now. My flatmate and I got along well and have become very good friends over the years. Sadly, she has decided to move in with her boyfriend (lucky man!), so I’m looking for someone to replace her as soon as possible.

About the flat: it’s a 2-bed flat in an 8-flat building with its own big garden. Rent is £1125 per month and all bills come up to £198 per person (council tax, WiFi, water, electricity and gas).

As a built-to-rent flat, it’s very spacious, well-maintained, got plenty of storage (perfect for non-locals!) and natural light. Your bedroom comes furnished as it is shown in the pictures with a garden view. My flatmate worked from home several days a week and she had her office stuff set up in there very comfortably.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-sizes fridge/freezer and you’re very welcome to share my kitchenware and I’d be happy to split the costs if we need to buy more stuff. The living room is where my plant babies live and I sometimes do light workout here. Plenty of space for everyone! The bathroom is nice and spacious. Perfect for a long bath during colder weather.

Apart from how spacious and cosy the flat is, the best thing about it is the convenience of transportation, especially the Lizzie line from Ealing Broadway. You’ve literally got most lines on the days when TFL decides that your life is too easy and want to suspend some tube lines.

Amenities: corner shops and Little Waitrose just 3 mins walk away; otherwise, you’ve got big Morrisons and M&S for groceries in Ealing Broadway. There are plenty of shops, cafés, restaurants and gym in Ealing Broadway. There’s also Walpole park and Pitzhanger Manor House which offer relaxing green space.

About me: I’m originally from Thailand and I’ve been living in the UK for the past 10 years after living in Singapore for 3 years. I work in the performing arts industry, so my schedule varies quite a lot. If I’m in a production, I’m often very busy and will come home late (after the show). If not, I mainly work from home, especially for my voiceover work. Due to the nature of my work, I do practise (singing, piano, flute) and record self-tape auditions at home regularly, though I do it in my room and only within respectable hours (I won’t wake you up or keep you from sleeping with my music, don’t worry!). According to my flatmate, the sound proof in the flat is quite good, and our neighbours rarely hear me. That being said, please keep this factor in mind before reaching out.

Apart from that, I’m clean, chill, bubbly and a foodie. I enjoy socialising at home, though value my downtime too, especially after a busy time at work. I don’t expect us to hang out all the time, but given that there’re just two of us here, it’d be lovely to get along well and look out for each other. I’m not a party person, never smoke and rarely drink, though would be up for some pub grubs with you! I’m Buddhist and I like most nerdy stuff (books, museum, philosophy, theatre, etc.). Always down for a chat, trying out new food and seeing exhibitions.
