Description
My housemate found love and is moving in with her boyfriend 🏡
We would love to find another like-minded girlie to take over her double bedroom. Our contract runs from August to August every year so she is looking for someone to take over the last couple of months of her contract as well as sign the next year. The room is available now but she is happy to cover this month's rent.
The flat comes furnished, but the landlady has been quite flexible with allowing us make our flat feel home so we've put our own beds, furniture and shelving in. My housemate is taking her furniture when she leaves so the original furniture will be moved back in.
For those that occasionally work from home, I have a desk in my room for when I choose to WFH (averaging 4 days a week in the office at the moment) but there is space in our living room for you to place your own desk.
The area itself is really lovely and quiet - very residential with mainly young families and a park nearby but also walking distance into Broadway where you can find a whole range of restaurants, pubs and bars.
If you don't want to walk, there is also the 226 bus which regularly goes past the flat and takes you directly to Ealing Broadway in 5 minutes.
For those that likes to cycle, we have a bike hangar right outside the flat or we also have a communal garden that you can only access if you have the code to the keypad and it is where my housemate usually leaves her bike.
Bills are split between us and is c£150 each per month.
About me - I am a sociable person that likes to cook so my housemate and I would take turns cooking for each other if we both happen to be home in the evening. I work in the City and sometimes won't get home til late during busy periods of the year. Ideally I'm looking for a female or a gay male housemate that is sociable and fun but also tidy and respectful of our shared spaces.
