Description
We currently have one incredible furnished room in a beautiful townhouse in Ealing Broadway available now!
Second floor double en-suite room. The room is furnished with a double bed, two night stands, free-standing chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe.
The house itself is four levels with a large kitchen and a garden. The ground floor has underfloor heating throughout, a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a downstairs toilet. The kitchen comes with all sorts of utensils, crockery, cutlery etc as well as other great items like a dishwasher, air fryer and crockpot - all for communal use. There is plenty of storage space, 2 fridge / freezers and a large dining table with leather chairs.
The garden is to the rear of the property through double French doors in the kitchen. It's a great size and has a small BBQ and plenty of outdoor plants.
The shared, large living room has a large flatscreen smart TV with Freeview, Netflix and Virgin fibre optic Broadband (along with our personal accounts of NOW, Disney, Apple TV etc....). There are 2 leather sofas and a coffee table. There is also a balcony off the lounge accessible through 2 sets of French double doors which overlook the ground floor garden.
The other housemates: You'll be one of six; at the moment it's a mix of 3 girls and 3 boys. 1 of our housemates is leaving this month. We all get on incredibly well and like to hangout when we can, but there is plenty of room if you enjoy your own space. Everyone is really friendly though, and we've ticked off 3 group holidays to Japan, Paris and Budapest in the last 12 months!
The boring stuff: the bills come to approx. £150 a month, which includes gas, electricity, council tax, Thames water, TV licence, Virgin broadband, and a fortnightly cleaner.
There are additional one-off referencing and contract fees unfortunately but this is handled through the property agent with whom you will deal directly - the fees are outlined below:
In summary the full amounts required to secure the room:
Deposit – Approx. 1 month’s rent (£850)
£973 - First month's rent + bills
+ Agency fees for referencing and renewal of contract (these are usually about £50 for a name change to the tenancy agreement)
If required, there is on-street permit parking right outside the house and on the neighbouring streets too.
About you: We would like someone in the same age range to join us. As long as you are considerate of others, are willing to be respectful of the house and muck in, you fit the criteria. Being sociable will also help!
