Description
It is with a very heavy heart that I leave this wonderful, cosy house after 4 lovely years.
The current housemates include 3 girls, Tyler, Emily and Holly. We are a tight bunch who love to catch-up after a long day, enjoying cooking together and hanging out, whilst each having our own busy lives. Everyone keeps a good balance of going out and enjoying the home comforts. The house is really laid back but everyone is house proud - it is important that a new housemate values a clean, cosy home as much as we do so we can keep it our sanctuary.
The room itself is a cosy double, which comes fully furnished with a bed, large wardrobe and small chest of drawers.
There is a large living room which is lovely to spend an evening in front of the telly or a Sunday afternoon. There is also a small patio out the back where we do like to host BBQs in the summer. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table. There are two bathrooms, you will share the lower floor bathroom with one other housemate but all bathrooms are generally communal too.
The house is situated in Earlsfield, which is a lovely, leafy area in South West London. Nearby (10 mins walk), you have the fabulous SouthSide shopping centre, which has a huge Waitrose/Sainsburys plus UniQlo and other useful shops. Even closer, there is a Coop which is open late and lots of delicious resturants and pubs on Garrett Lane about 5 mins away including Italian, Thai and the best pubs. You can get into Central London (Waterloo within half an hour) and Vauxhall to hop on the tube even less. Other good transport links include the District line (accessible via Putney Bridge/Southfields/Fulham Broadway). I sometimes get the bus to Tooting and hop on the Northern line which is also useful depending on where in London you're headed.
Bills tend to work out around £70 per month each (incl council tax, gas/electricity, water, internet) and the deposit is about 5 weeks rent (will TBC with our landlord and confirm at the point of viewing).
I am waiting to confirm the exact date of moving as this depends on the date of completion for my new place. However, I would be willing for the dates not to be perfectly aligned for the right person.
If you are interested, please come see the place and meet us!
