Description
Hello!
One of our housemates is sadly leaving us to move to up to Sheffield so we're looking for someone to take her double room from around the end of February.
Location:
The house is located on a quiet street right by Earlsfield Station (1-minute walk), so you can be in Clapham Junction in 5 minutes, or at Waterloo in 15 minutes.
The house:
The house is set over three floors, is spacious and was newly refurbished in 2019. There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms (two ensuite rooms). There is a small garden to the rear of the house which we use for BBQs and unsuccessfully growing vegetables. The entire ground floor is our living space and we have a big living room and huge kitchen space, as well as an office/bike room. If you WFH there is tons of space in here for a desk so you won't have to work in your bedroom. We also have a cleaner that comes once every fortnight.
The rooms:
We have 1x double room available in the property with a shared bathroom (sharing with 1 other). The room was unfurnished when we moved in, however, I am looking to sell the furniture within the room.
About you:
We are looking for someone easy going and ideally 28 - 35, otherwise have no specific criteria, but we would like a mix of people in the house in order to create a diverse environment.
About us:
The house has a nice sociable vibe, we have shared hobbies (running, cycling etc.) and often do things together but are also busy doing our own things a lot of the time as well. We're pretty good at keeping the house clean and tidy, and would appreciate the same from a new flatmate. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly house.
Paul (31)
I'm a Civil Servant, working in climate change/energy policy. I'm a big fan of wholesome activities and enjoy being outdoors and spending time hiking, travelling, taking trips to the seaside etc. I also gym, swim, cycle and run (which makes me sound much fitter than I am…). Having said that, I enjoy most things and I'm always up for a night out or trying new things!
Andy (32)
I'm a Data Engineer during the week and an occasional surfer at the weekend. A big fan of all the classics - pubs, nights out, gym, walks on the beach, travel etc. I spent a lot of time during lockdown converting a van so you can consider the gateway to the outdoors open - whether it is paddleboarding, surfing or a country pub, the choice is yours.
Milly (28)
I work as a HIV pharmacist and spend my free time outdoors, from running and hikes to countryside getaways. I’m also an occasional surfer (heavy on the enthusiasm, light on the skill) and love a dalliance to a pub from time to time.
Price:
Double room - £1000 pcm
Bills & cleaner - ~£130 pcm
Move-in: Saturday 28 February (ish!)
Please drop us a message if you are interested. We are planning to do some early viewings early January.
