Double room in airy flat in Earlsfield/Wandsworth

I am looking for a female flatmate to share this lovely flat, as my flatmate is moving out in August. I would love to find someone friendly, wholesome and professional that I vibe with, so that we can be good friends and feel completely at home around each other.

Available from: Mid August 2024

Rent: £970 per month. Deposit of 5 weeks is required.

Bills: £120 roughly per month. including Wi-Fi and Council Tax (no hidden expenses).

Your room: Your room is furnished with a double bed, mattress, wardrobe and small chest of drawers (two if you need). There is a shared cupboard in the living room, plus a shared coats peg and shoe rack in the hall. You are welcome to decorate the room however you like as the landlord is relaxed. Shelves and artwork on the walls are completely fine.

Your home: The flat has two double bedrooms, one shared bathroom, a kitchen, living room and a terrace. The apartment is airy, gets lots of natural light and has recently had a fresh lick of paint. The terrace is lovely for reading or yoga in the sun on the weekends, and it has potential for garden furniture and outdoor plants as well. I have videos of the flat which are more helpful upon request.

Your flatmate: I am 26 and working at a law firm. I have rented this flat since September and I really love it here. On weekdays I enjoy my routine, but on weekends I love to spend the day out. I love spending time with family and friends, travelling, restaurants, reading, poetry and art, fitness and nature, and I love a brunch and coffee on the weekend.

Lifestyle: I work in the office 3-4 days a week and I am often away 1-2 nights per week. I don't spend loads of time at home, typically working from home once per week, but I love having a clean and calm space to chill or have a friend/boyfriend over when I am home. I offer a clean and peaceful home life without smoking and pets, where friends are more than welcome to come over (as mine often do!) but pres/parties are rare rather than the norm. I would love to live with someone who would enjoy sharing and benefitting from a home life with no music after hours and no strangers in the flat.

Please note I am only open to living with another woman.

Travel: The flat is really well connected for commuting into London (as I do). Bus stop right on the door step for the 77 bus into London. Less than 10 mins walk from Earlsfield and Wandsworth Common stations. Parking permits available from Wandsworth Council. I have a space where you can store your bike if you have one.

Viewings: Available on request. I would love to have you over for a tour and coffee when I am working from home.

Landlord and neighbours: Neighbours are lovely and the landlord is really lovely and quick to deal with issues.
