Hey - I’m Olly , a 31yo professional working as a Business Manager in professional services … I’m very chilled , highly social , enjoy eating out , love cooking , seeing live music , keeping fit , days / evenings spent at the pub and chilled evenings in front of the tv judging the entire cast of love is blind .

After 2 and a half years of blissful living together , my housemate is moving out to live with their partner . Naturally , this means I’m in the market for someone to share this wonderful flat with … Ideally I’d like to live with someone who will enjoy doing stuff together as much as they do their own space , and will be a friend as opposed to a silent partner .

Other things I appreciate are: cleanliness , good personal hygiene , can have a laugh , appreciates a homely touch (mostly plants and candles) , communication , and not taking life too bloody seriously . Oh , and dogs !! I semi-regularly look after the neighbours sausage dog , so being comfortable around a cute (slightly yappy) alien looking pooch is a plus …

The flat:

2 bed flat located a stones throw from Earlsfield station , so excellent for commuting . The flat is at the back of the property and has 3 floors and a garden . No flats above or below .

Ground floor - living area , kitchen , garden .
Floor 1 - potentially your room , shared toilet / bathroom .
Floor 2 - my room (not pictured in case you’re feeling nosy , sorry)

The flat is kept clean and tidy , is full of light , and the garden gets the sun from 11am - 5/6pm . I also have wonderful neighbours (7 flats in total) who all get on and occasionally get together for a drink / coffee .

The shared spaces are fully furnished , including washing machine and dishwasher . Your potential room has built in wardrobes and bed included (I’m pretty sure my housemate wants the bedside tables and tv unit as they own them , but could be up for discussion) .

There’s two under the stairs cupboards which has a bit of storage .

The living room has a desk and monitor in the corner , which I’ve been using when WFH (2 days minimum in office) - but happy to share this space if our work schedules alternate on certain days if you need the big screen etc … I’m not antisocial with the work space , and wouldn’t take calls in shared areas if both are using to work etc . Of course happy to discuss and figure out what works best for both of us , I’m pretty chilled about everything .

Rent is £925 per month excluding bills . Roughly £1,066 including bills & council tax . This doesn’t include the bi-annual water bill (usually around £250) , which is paid as and when it comes in .

Landlord is great - always quick to help if anything needs doing , but other than an inspection every 6 months they leave us to it .

I’ve put 9th September as the move in date , but can be earlier or later pending discussion .

Happy to show you around the flat and then keen to go for a drink / coffee / walk etc to see if we get on and will thrive living together .
