My boyfriend and I moved into this beautiful flat in December 2023, but work is now taking us elsewhere and we're looking for new people to take over the rent.
Location & transport:
The ground floor flat is situated between Earlsfield and Wandsworth, about a 10 min walk from Earlsfield station. It's also just a 5 min walk from King George's park and 15 mins from Wandsworth common, so lots of green space around. It's also 10 min walk from local amenities such as Southside shopping centre, Sainsbury's, gyms and restaurants.
The flat:
It's a spacious and homely 2-bed flat, with a beautiful kitchen, 1 shared bathroom with shower-bath, and a south-facing garden (plenty of sun) complete with a bench and table. The landlords lived here before moving away, so it's really well done out. The flat is probably more suitable for a couple, as one room is a little smaller. It comes with 1 sofa and a kitchen table, but the rest of the furniture will be going with us or we're happy to sell as part of the exchange - can be discussed on viewings. There's also plenty of under stair storage.
The landlords:
As mentioned, they lived here for a couple of years and did the place out to a great standard. They moved away out of London after having kids but are always on call to fix anything that's needed. They're really lovely people!
The contract:
We signed a 3 year contract in December 2023, with a 2-year break clause (December 2025). The rent is currently at £2,300 pcm, but will increase to £2,400 in December 2024 and if continued after the break clause, the rent will increase to £2,500 in December 2025. We are looking to replace the names on the contract to keep this contract in place and will cover the landlord fees.

Gas & Electric: £127 pm
Water: £33 pm
