Description
We are Tom, Ollie & Josh, and have lived in our house in Earlsfield for 18 months with our friend Jim. Unfortunately, Jim is moving elsewhere but we'd love to stay in our amazing house, so we're looking for someone fun and like minded to take our spare room.
The House
The house has been fairly recently refurbished so is in great condition. We’re lucky to have a huge kitchen / dining space that leads out into a lovely patio & garden. We also have a separate living area and two shared bathrooms (between 3 people), so we don't struggle for space. The kitchen has a dishwasher and we have a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The Bedroom
The room itself is large and fully furnished with a Queen-Sized Bed and mattress, in addition to a wardrobe, bedside-table, a chest of drawers, desk and TV Unit. The room is 4.25m x 3.75m and has plenty of natural light from 2 large windows. The room is located on the first (middle) floor of the house.
Location
The house is brilliantly located halfway up Earlsfield Road, so it’s a great spot in-between Wandsworth and Earlsfield town. We are a 10 minute walk from Earlsfield station, a 20 minute walk from Wandsworth Town and a 10 minute bus from Clapham Junction (or a 30min walk if you fancy).
A bit about us…
The 3 of us have known each other for many years and share the same group of friends. Tom works in the music industry as a technical scrum master, Ollie works in software sales and Josh in Sports Journalism. The 3 of us are big into sports, mainly football and golf. We also enjoy watching TV & movies, and all like to have fun at the weekends either playing sport or hanging out with friends. Josh works in the office most of the week and Ollie & Tom tend to split their weeks between WFH and the office.
We're also nicely located close to a couple of parks. Both Wandsworth Common and King George's Park are just a 10min walk.
The Contract
The rent is £1,250 per month, including bills, Virgin TV & wifi and a monthly cleaner (for communal areas and bathrooms), (Optional extra £20pm to use the Peloton bike in the Kitchen!)
The move in date is from 5th January 2025. The contract is on a 2 month rolling notice with the landlord and in May 2025 it will be 2 years since moving in. We are in the process of discussing what we would like to do when May comes around, but there is a good likelihood that we will want to continue living here for the summer at least.
