Room in South West London - Earlsfield

I’m moving out of my lovely house share in Earlsfield, SW London on the 1st of February to go travelling! Earlsfield is right between Clapham Junction and Wimbledon, 5 mins down the road from Tooting Broadway.

The Location
The house is right in the heart of Earlsfield, two minute walk away from the train station which gets you to Waterloo in 10 minutes, trains running every 2-3 mins. Perfect commuter location. Alternatively, there are several buses every 4-5 minutes taking you directly to Tooting Broadway in under 10 mins, or to Wandsworth (did someone say The Ship? 👀). Lidl, Aldi and a big Sainsbury’s are all local enough to do a ‘big shop’ on foot/public transport. There are also multiple gyms within walking distance!

Earlsfield is a great community vibe with tons of coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, charity shops, salons and other small local businesses. The Wandle does a great pub quiz and The Leather Bottle has a ginormous beer garden 🍻

The House
There is one room available in a 6 bed house share, spread over 3 floors (not including the big basement we use for storage, and home to our tumble dryer).

The room is on the ground floor, with a window overlooking the garden. It has tons of storage and space for a desk and other furniture. Comes with built in wardrobe & cupboards, bed and chest of drawers. The room heats up super fast in the winter which has been a big bonus!

You’ll be sharing the house with 4 boys and 1 girl, all between 23-28 and like going out/chilling together, so looking for flatmates wanting to be friends with the house are up for joining in every now and again.

They’re super easy to get on with, like to keep a clean house and are very sociable.

Rent for each room is £614 (!!!) per month plus bills which typically cost between £100-£120 and include a WEEKLY cleaner who cleans the entire place including bedrooms.
