Double Room in East Dulwich

We have a fully furnished double room available from the 24th of March in our lovely shared house in the heart of East Dulwich.

You would be living with three females between 30 and 40 years old. We are all easy-going and very friendly. We like socialising, but also respect each other’s privacy. Two of the housemates work from home, so the house is NOT SUITABLE for anyone who wants to work from home.

Rent is £530 per month and a deposit (£577) is required in advance. Bills add up to around £100 per month and include gas and electricity (£29.74), water (approx £6), internet (£13.15), council tax (band D, £35.27)) and an alarm (£9.64). The person who would take the room will be added to the existing, monthly rolling contract.

References, a credit check, employment contract and proof of income are required by the landlord, so please bring these along when you come for the viewing.

The house is in a very quiet street and East Dulwich train station is within 5 minutes walking distance from the house and provides direct links to London Bridge (13 min). From East Dulwich station, buses 40 to London Bridge/Aldgate, 176 to Tottenham Court Road, 185 to Victoria, 484 to Lewisham and P13 to Streatham provide great links with London. Furthermore, only 3 minutes by bus is Denmark Hill station with trains to Victoria and the Overground.

The house is clean and the tenant would be expected to keep the shared areas clean and contribute to the cleaning tasks (in addition to always cleaning up after themselves in the kitchen). No smoking allowed in the house.
