We are looking for 1 new housemate to move in from Sunday the 29th of March 2026. The full rental period is for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 1 year. This is a long-term rental with a private landlord; 2 members of the house have lived here for 10 years, and we ask to extend every year...

The room - £725 pcm + monthly bills of roughly £80-90 - is a sunny 1st floor double room (approx. 2.8 x 3m) with a window overlooking the South-facing back garden. Bed frame and double mattress are included (if needed), and if you wanted to purchase the wooden wardrobe seen in the photos our housemate who is leaving is willing to sell (TBD).

We pay rent on the 15th of every month, so you'd be paying an initial 2 weeks separately and then the first full month's rent on the 15th April. The deposit for the room is £750.

Location: On a really nice (and surprisingly quiet!) residential road just off Lordship Lane. Lots going on right on your doorstep: an independent cinema around the corner, several gyms and parks within walking distance as well as lots of great local pubs and restaurants. East Dulwich is a fantastic area if you don't know it already - nice and safe but with a buzz. The independent shops are fantastic, and only a 20 min walk to Peckham too.

Transport: Buses leave every few minutes from the end of the road to East Dulwich and Denmark Hill stations, from which you can get anywhere in London easily. In fact you can get 24hr buses all the way from Leicester Square, the Strand, Victoria and Waterloo stations and be dropped off at the end of the road which is pretty convenient.

Sharing with: 3 lovely ladies who are friendly and respectful, work in the creative and hospitality industries and have lived together for the last couple of years. It can be a sociable house - there's a lot of chatting that goes on in the kitchen as well as the odd film and wine or dinner night in together. At the same time there is plenty of space, so it's easy to find peace and quiet and be separate within the house. There's a good balance!

The house is pretty large and has a separate sitting room, dining room and kitchen, 2 toilets, bathroom and a lovely South-facing garden, as well as free on-street parking at the front.

The ideal housemate: we are looking for someone clean, tidy and calm but also friendly.
