Description
Hello!
We are looking for a new female housemate to join our lovely flat in East Dulwich from mid/late April
The room:
- spacious double room overlooking the garden, with its own bathroom (not en-suite)
- furnished - bed, bedside table, wardrobe, mirror, bookcase, chest of drawers, armchair, and a desk and chair for home working
The flat:
- top two floors in a Victorian terraced house
- living room with tv (Netflix, Prime, Now, Disney+) and lots of plants
- kitchen-dining room with all the necessary appliances (including an air fryer!) and lovely views
- own garden with lawn, patio, and chiminea
- broadband and bills included
- council tax band C
Your potential new flatmates!
- Lucy and I are 32 and 34 and live with one melodramatic cat (Juni)
- I work from home 2-3 days a week, Lucy is a teacher so is at school all week
- we enjoy taking advantage of everything London has to offer, going to exhibitions, theatre, cinema, and gigs, reading, going for walks in the local parks etc
- all of the classics you see on Spare-room:
- love to get to know people, chatting over cups of tea or a drink, chilling out in front of the tv after work, but also happy to give people their own space.
- we’re very clean and tidy and I’m the landlord so any issues get sorted immediately!
- we’re looking for someone we can form a friendship with not just be ships in the night :)
The area:
- East Dulwich is a great area (recently voted one of the best places to live in the UK apparently) with just the right level of busyness, lots of coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and delis, green spaces, Saturday farmers market, boutique shops, Oliver Bonas (dangerous!) and much more
- Co-op and M&S 5 min walk, big Sainsbury’s 15 min walk
- Picturehouse cinema 3 min walk from the flat
- Dulwich park and Peckham Rye are both about 10 min walk
- East Dulwich station is 12 mins walk with trains into London Bridge (13 mins), Denmark Hill is a 18 min bus ride with Thameslink and trains into Victoria (9 mins)
- Lots of bus stops near-by
- 20 min walk to Peckham
If you’re interested drop me a message and we can set up a viewing :)
Thanks!
Jessie
