Bright and spacious room in East Dulwich

We have a lovely big room going in our house in East Dulwich. I’m sadly leaving after 5 years to move in with my partner.

It'll be available from 25th August. The deposit is £1000.

The room is on the second floor.

Bills aren’t included but come to around £100ish depending on the time of year. They include council tax, good wifi, water, heat and electricity.

The house is a 10 minute walk from East Dulwich station (which has a fast train to London Bridge in 15 minutes and is only two stops/walking distance to Peckham Rye overground), good bus links, is right next to the Tessa Jowell Health Centre and a 15 minute walk from a big Sainsbury’s. It’s also a 5 minute walk from Lordship Lane which has lots of lovely pubs and cafes. There are also several great parks not too far away.

About the housemates - Holly is 28 and a print technician/musician. Allison is 25 and works at the V&A.

Allison and Holly both work 9-5 so it’s not a party house, they keep things calm and quiet during the week and would like any prospective housemates to be respectful of that. But weekends are fine for whatever.

There’s a parking space available out the front of the house. It’s a shared driveway with the downstairs neighbour.

R. e pets - this would need to be a separate conversation with the landlord/letting agents so I can’t guarantee they’d be accepted!

Holly and I have both lived at the property for several years because we love the area and have a nice vibe going.

I’m currently the lead tenant so there would have to be a new agreement drawn up in the new tenant’s name.
