Double room in friendly 3 bed flat - East Dulwich

Hello!

Our housemate is leaving for pastures new (moving in with his girlfriend), so we have a spacious double bedroom available in our 3 bed flat in East Dulwich. The flat is on the first floor and the room is 5m x 2.91m, so there’s plenty of space and the rent is £694/month. Bills come to £90-£100 a month each. Which includes council tax, gas & electricity, internet and water.

If you don’t know Dulwich already then you’re in for a treat! We’re just off Lordship Lane which has a great selection of shops, bakeries and pubs! Plus, a lovely little food market on Saturdays. Dulwich Park is a 2-minute walk away, along with Peckham Rye just down the road. The street is made up of similar working professionals / families and the neighbours are super friendly.

Forest Hill, Peckham Rye, and East Dulwich Stations are all within reasonable walking distance - 15/20 mins away. Along with various bus routes that run right by the house.

The room is unfurnished and the move-in date is currently the 5th January, but this could potentially be brought forward if needed. The landlord is responsive if anything needs sorting with the house, but otherwise just leaves us to it. We're happy to welcome anyone friendly and laid-back really, and we don’t have any particular requirements of a new housemate, although we'd of course like to meet people first. So, we’ll be booking in viewings for Saturday 7th / Wednesday 11th / Friday 13th Dec.

Brief bit about us: you'll be sharing with me (Ammar) and Mike; I'm an events manager for a charity and Mike works in insurance (even ChatGPT had no suggestions on how to make this sound more exciting...). Interests wise...

Ammar: Cycling, hiking, running, finding new pubs, bakeries, restaurants -recommendations always welcome / may assist in selection ;)

Mike: Running, hiking, reading, pub quizzes, good food, the odd night out, cinema trips. - the usual stuff.
