Double room in flatshare - East Dulwich

Hello!

Our housemate is moving in with his girlfriend, so we have a lovely double room in our 3 bed flat in East Dulwich. The flat is on the first floor and the room is 3.6m x 3.3m, so there’s plenty of space and the rent is £669/month. Bills come to £120-£130 a month each. Which includes council tax, gas & electricity, internet and water.

We’re just off Lordship Lane which has a great selection of shops, bakeries and pubs! Plus, a food market on Saturdays. Dulwich Park is a 2-minute walk away, along with Peckham Rye just down the road. The street is made up of similar working professionals / families and the neighbours are really friendly.

Forest Hill, Peckham Rye, and East Dulwich Stations are all within reasonable walking distance - 15/20 mins away. Along with various bus routes that run right by the house.

The room is un-furnished but there is a bed (king size), wardrobe, bookcase and set of draws that our housemate is selling if needed. The move-in date is currently 16 October, but there is some flexibility on this. The landlord is responsive if anything needs sorting with the house, but otherwise just leaves us to it. We're happy to welcome anyone friendly and laid-back really, and we don’t have any particular requirements of a new housemate, although we'd of course like to meet people first. So, we’ll be arranging viewings from 4th October onwards.

Brief bit about us:

I’m 34 and love cycling, hiking, running, gigs, festivals, and finding new pubs, bakeries and restaurants. You’ll usually find me out exploring somewhere new, whether that’s heading out on the bike, finding a good hike, at the cinema, or convincing myself I need to try another bakery. And always up for a trip to the pub.

Ben is 29 and loves small gigs, Peckham car boot, board games, cinema, the Barbican, and hyper-fixating on music artists (currently Madonna). You’ll always find him down the Windmill (either going to a gig or playing in his band), buying last-minute theatre tickets, or checking out a new exhibition. He knows every hack for getting cheap tickets and will always have a gig recommendation for any day of the week.
