Double Room in 2Bed Flat, East Dulwich

Hello Lovely People,

I'm looking for someone to take over my flatmate's room, who is sadly moving out into her own place, from 22 September. The contract is for one year.

The property is a newbuilt two-bedroom downstairs flat in a 6-flat apartment complex in East Dulwich. Peckham Rye Park is a minute away and Lordship Lane is a 5min walk. Close to East Dulwich (10min) and Peckham Rye (12min) train stations and many bus routes to Central London.

The room is a good-sized double with a built-in wardrobe. It comes unfurnished, aside from a shelving unit. It is a bright room with lots of light. There is a large living area where you can easily fit a desk, if you work from home. The kitchen is fully fitted including a dishwasher. The bathroom is small but nice and the water pressure is excellent :)

The flat is rented directly from the Landlord who is very relaxed, so no headaches caused by property managers. Rent is £1050 + bills. Utilities usually come to £150-£180, depending on season and covers gas, electricity, water, high-speed WIFI, council tax, and the TV licence. We also have a cleaner who comes every two weeks, costing £40 per month per person. Deposit is £1125.

You would be sharing with myself and my Maine Coon cat, Earl Grey. I’m in my thirties doing neuroscience research at King’s. We are both very relaxed, social, and easy-going, and like to have dinners and movie nights with our flatmate. Friends and family are always welcome.
