Double Room in East Dulwich

Double room on the second floor of a 4 bed end of terrace house. It has a garden-facing window and is on the same floor as one other bedroom, half a floor up from a bathroom.

Current tenants are good friends, having lived together for a number of years - whilst two are from Glasgow and one from York, they met in London. They enjoy spending time together and are looking for someone who is looking to make some new friends and would get stuck in. Some of their shared interests are playing/watching sport and music, particularly football and golf.

There is an open plan kitchen and dining room with a separate living room downstairs, as well as well-sized garden. TV has all sports subscriptions.

In total there are 2 bathrooms and 2 separate WCs between the four tenants. We also have a dishwasher.

The house is in a great part of London, 2 mins walk from Lordship Lane with tons of pubs and cafes. Also a short walk to East Dulwich station that has a direct connection to London Bridge, and also a short walk to Peckham with overground station. Peckham Rye park is 5min walk away too.

The house has a cleaner once a month.

The property is managed through Truepenny’s, and is technically unfurnished but all furniture will come with the room - there will be a one-off cost to cover the furniture we had to buy when we moved in - this also means you will be entitled to a quarter in the value of the furniture in the house when you move out! That includes everything in your room as well as shared table, sofas, etc. Bills are not included in the rent but come to about £120 a month all in (Wifi, gas & electricity, water, council tax, cleaner).

The tenancy is currently running on a 2-month rolling basis, although the tenants expect to stay for at least another year, with the landlord currently going through probate - we have been informed it will likely be available to rent for a number of years.
