Lovely room, friendly house - sublet for 6+ months

We’ve got a bright room to rent in our lovely home in East Dulwich (right by Peckham Rye). We’re 3 housemates - Mallory, Ada and Georgina - looking for another lovely person to join our home while our current fourth housemate is travelling abroad 😊

We’ve got a cute garden with lots of scope to grow veggies and a sunny living room with a projector for movie nights!

We’d like someone to move in on 4th October when our current housemate leaves to go on her sabbatical. This will be a sublet for 6 months (with a possibility of extension until next summer).

The rent for the room is £700, excluding bills.

About the house:

•⁠ ⁠Yours will be a lovely cosy room with wooden floorboards and it comes with a double bed, wardrobe, 2 large bookcases/shelves, chest of drawers, bedside table and also a desk and chair (if you would like)
•⁠ ⁠Shared living room with a comfy large sofa
•⁠ ⁠2 bathrooms
•⁠ ⁠Kitchen with doors opening into our lovely garden
•⁠ Utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer
•⁠ ⁠Quiet road in lovely East Dulwich with plenty of green spaces, shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby
•⁠ ⁠Close to buses (12, 40, 63, 363) into central London and near Peckham Rye and East Dulwich overground/train stations
•⁠ ⁠Bills are around £100 a month each (Council Tax band D)

About us:

We’re Mallory, Ada and Georgina - we’re all pretty easy-going and tidy, enjoy a bit of telly, cooking, and the odd trip to the cinema/theatre/art gallery.

Mallory - from Kent originally, currently working at a Ceramics store. Enjoys reading, writing, discovering new cafes/ restaurants, swimming, yoga and drinking lots of tea.

Ada - is an Italian-Nigerian, who works as a photo librarian for an engineering and design firm. Enjoys going to art galleries, watching films, cycling, and scouting for fashion items to add to her clothing collection.

Georgina - from London, is currently retraining as a landscape architect after working as an artist. She loves gardening, cooking, and seeing art exhibitions. On the weekend she loves going on long walks and escaping to the countryside!

About you:

Someone of a similar age (late twenties/early/mid-thirties) who is looking for a peaceful place to live. We’re looking for someone who wants a home to live in rather than just a room. It’d be lovely to have a drink and a chat in the evening or watch some TV together now and then!
