Double room in East Dulwich

We have a double room available in our delightful East Dulwich flat!

The flat has a shared living/dining/kitchen space, private entryway, and a very large bathroom complete with giant bathtub.

We are located an approx 20 minute walk from East Dulwich station, with a bus stop right outside the flat that is well served by the 185, 176, and 40 bus routes, and a stop a few minutes walk away that is also served by the 12 and 197. We are also a 10 minute bus from Forest Hill station and approximately 10-15 minutes on the bus to Peckham Rye. The flat is located 5 minutes from Dulwich Park and is just down the road from East Dulwich high street.

The room itself is a small double that will come unfurnished apart from the mattress. It is on the top floor of the house and faces away from the main road so is nice and quiet. If more storage space is required, the flat has very large corridors including a landing on the top floor that could easily fit a chest of drawers. The room is the smallest in the flat which is reflected in a reduced share of the rent. Bills come to approximately £125 per month (council tax band C).

About us- we are both creative, hard working young professionals who are balancing music careers and day jobs. I (Bess) am a saxophone player and work part-time for an arts charity and Yas is a solo artist who works for a commercial music company. Both of us work from home at least some of the time so we like our flat to be a calm and tidy space. In the evenings, we're both keen cooks so nights in are often dinner-focussed with a film. We also enjoy going to gigs, getting the bus over to Peckham for a boogie, or a big dancey night out. Whilst we love to be social, we are both busy people who enjoy our independence and having space to decompress.

We are looking for a social, clean and considerate flatmate who shares our creative interests. Our landlord requires a minimum income of 30x the monthly rent and references, but we are happy to speak to them about providing a guarantor if needed.
