Female Flat, Double Room, All Bills Inc!

Sadly (but happily for you!), our lovely flatmate is moving out, so her big, bright double room is up for grabs in our 3-bed home on the first floor of a quiet block in East Finchley.

💸 Rent includes everything: all bills, council tax, broadband, etc. Shared TV also has a Chromecast and Apple TV.
🚗 Free street parking available right outside.
📦 Move-in date: Ideally 6th May 2025, but we’re flexible if you need a bit earlier or later.
🐾 FYI: We don’t currently have a cat, but occasionally a very affectionate Bengal cat (my parents’) comes to stay with us!

Who you'll be living with:
Layla: 33. Scientist for the NHS
Ariana: 24. Works for NHS charities

We're both tidy young professionals who like to keep the place clean (but we're not anal about it). The flat is incredibly chilled and a lovely place to relax, cook dinner with a podcast on or have a few friends round for board game nights.
We'd prefer someone who doesn't work from home most days, just to keep the space balanced! We would also prefer a female flatmate as all the other flatmates are female.

*BEDROOM*

This room is the biggest room in the flat, it's light, airy and fully furnished with a big double bed, wardrobe (with full length double mirror), giant chest of drawers, bedside table and a desk/chair. To be honest it has everything you need but there is also plenty of space to bring your own furniture if you like or to store a bike.

*HOUSE*

Kitchen: Standard kitchen stuff really. We have lots of gadgets that you're welcome to use but you also get your own cupboards, drawers, etc. to bring your own stuff. We generally share cutlery/plates/pans but, again, you'll have space to store your own if you prefer! We have a huge Hotpoint fridge/freezer so everyone gets a nice, big shelf to themselves.

Bathroom: The bathroom has been recently refurbished so everything is really nice, top water pressure, loads of storage, etc! I should also probably state that we have a SEPARATE bathroom and toilet (because that's a rarity in London it seems). Also Layla almost always showers at the gym so it's only really shared between you and one other person.

Living Room: My favourite room in the house by far! The fact that so many listings on Spareroom DON'T have a separate living room is absolutely diabolical! Our sofa is dangerously comfortable (you may or may not accidentally fall asleep on it) and we have a nice big dining table that extends out if you would like to have guests round. The balcony door opens from the living room and has table/chairs for the summer time or if you like drying your clothes outside.

* EAST FINCHLEY*

East Finchley is a really lovely area. It has a little village feel but you're only a 15 minute tube journey from King's Cross. I work in London Bridge and my commute takes me 45 minutes door-to-office. We have a great independent cinema nearby (Phoenix) and lots of shops and nice pubs around. The flat is in a very leafy area between East Finchley and Finchley Central. The 263 bus goes to our door from East Finch station but it's only a 15 minute stroll anyway (and the walk is actually really pleasant!). Our building (see picture) is in an estate called The Grange but it is very close to the main road (High Road).
