Cosy room in a sunny, friendly flat

Double room available in a sunny 3-bed flat in East Finchley.

The building is 10 min walk to the tube station, 20 min to central London. The contract is managed by an agency, but the landlady is great and fast to respond whenever she's needed. There's plenty of lovely coffee shops and restaurants around and Muswell Hill is just around the corner. 15 min walk to Highgate Wood, 25 min walk to Alexandra Palace and 15 min from Coldfall Wood that really is a hidden gem of the area. I lived here for 2 years and will leave with a heavy heart.

The room

The room includes double bed, big wardrobe, night table, and large windows that let in loads of light. The walls were painted a while ago and are light grey - the new tenant is free to repaint them if they'd like to (as long as the new colour will be neutral)

The flat

There is a large living room (with two couches, coffee table and a large dining table that will be handy when dinners with friends are allowed again), fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, large fridge and freezer), bathroom with a toilet, plus additional toilet only (mainly used as space for kitty litter) and large balcony accessible form the kitchen and the living room.

We have a weekly cleaning rota, cleaning products costs are split between housemates. Housemates are open to discussing other options like getting a cleaner or agreeing new rules that will work best for the household.

Housemates

Mona works for a human rights charity (wfh full time). She's a lovely housemate, sociable but also values some quiet time. Has lived in the flat for almost 6 years. Pallavi is really friendly and considerate. She works in IT (wfh full time) and will be joining the flat mid March. Sophie is the house cat, shy at the start but she'll love cuddles once she gets used to new housemates being around.

Bills are not included but they come up to £100per month. We share the cost of cleaning products and things like olive oil, salt.

No additional fees for reference checks.

Due to the current covid-19 restrictions we would prefer for the initial viewing to be via zoom or whatsapp video call.
