Single room in friendly flat (ALL bills included!)

Unfortunately (but fortunately for you!) our lovely flatmate is moving out so her room is available in our first floor 3-bed home in East Finchley. It's deceptively spacious with lots of storage (in addition to the double wardrobe and chest of drawers in the bedroom, you also get exclusive use of a huge storage cupboard in the hallway - it's really handy to store any large or bulky items that you'd prefer to not have in your bedroom like suitcases and spare bedding).

We're one girl and a couple looking for someone just as considerate and laid-back to come live with us :) We're all in our mid to late 20s so would prefer someone within a similar age. We really love living here (me and Hannah have lived here for over 3 years) and take a lot of pride in our home! The landlord is not around much but is very prompt with getting things fixed and dealing with issues.

Hannah works as a cheerleading coach. Owen works in the film industry (although he is away a lot as he often has to be on set for long periods of time). Layla works as a Genetics Scientist for the NHS. At the moment however, Layla is back at her parents' in Leeds, she's due to move back into the flat towards the end of March.
All bills, council tax and broadband included in the rent. Zero fees.
We also have loads of free parking available just outside our front door. Please message over Spareroom, rather than call/text. Room available immediately (but we are flexible and can accommodate a later move-in date too).
Video viewings available where you can ask questions and meet all of us (and we can meet you!!).

Things we enjoy;
- We're like to have a sociable flat so would welcome someone who would enjoy hanging out over dinner for TV/Netflix nights
- Tea (everything about it! In fact, we've recently discovered biscuit tea and it's delish)
- Board game nights (we have an expanding collection!)
- Dinner parties (whenever we're allowed again)
- Exploring nearby restaurants and cafes when we can't be bothered to cook (again, whenever we're allowed again)
- Taking care of our many pet plants (they all have names!)
- Cycling, running, generally being active

*BEDROOM*

The room is light, airy and fully furnished with a single bed, wardrobe (with full length double mirror) and chest of drawers. The photos of the bedroom are a little bit old and since then the chest of drawers and bed have been upgraded (they should be visible in the video). As previously mentioned there's also an additional cupboard in the hallway just for the person in the single room (you?) for extra storage. The room has a nice, big window which looks out onto our balcony. There isn't a desk for home working in the bedroom but we have a big dining table that you are very welcome to set up on and use.

*HOUSE*

Kitchen: Standard kitchen stuff really. We have lots of gadgets that you're welcome to use but you also get your own cupboards, drawers, etc. to bring your own stuff. We generally share cutlery/plates/pans but, again, you'll have space to store your own if you prefer! We have a huge Hotpoint fridge/freezer so everyone gets a nice, big shelf just to themselves.

Bathroom: The landlord has had the bathroom refurbished not long ago so it's super nice - really good water pressure too. I should also probably state that we have a SEPARATE bathroom and toilet (because that's a rarity in London it seems).

Living Room: Our favourite room in the house by far! We spend most of our time in here. We have a bunch of gadgets e. g. AppleTV with Netflix and Prime Video, Chromecast, etc. You're welcome to use any of these whenever. The balcony door opens from the living room and has table/chairs for the summer time which is really lovely for al fresco chilling!

* EAST FINCHLEY*

East Finchley is a really lovely area. It has a little village feel but you're only a 15 minute tube journey from King's Cross. I'm wfh at the moment but usually my office is in London Bridge and my commute takes me 45 minutes door-to-desk. We have a great independent cinema nearby (Phoenix) and lots of shops and nice pubs around. The flat is in a very leafy area between East Finchley and Finchley Central. The 263 bus goes to our door from East Finch station but it's only a 10/15 minutes stroll anyway (and the walk is actually really pleasant!). Our building (see picture) is in an estate called The Grange but it is very close to the main road (High Road).
