En-suite single in quiet Greenwich area
I’m moving out of London and leaving my lovely houseshare on Halstow Road. You'll be living with three others who all have their own bathrooms (just like you), with a shared living space and kitchen and garden.
Your room is on the first floor.
Housemates:
Myrna - professional opera singer, please note she sometimes teaches singing from the living room
Emilia - works as a quality controller and fantastic artist
Flo - singer and music producer, please note she also sometimes practices her music from her room
The room comes with a single bed (which can open to become a double) with under-bed storage, a large chest of drawers and a small 2-drawer chest. The long mirror, desk and chair (and an electric heater not shown in pic) can be purchased from me as I’ll be selling them😊, but I will be taking the metal shelving unit (next to the bed) with me.
The room’s rent is £739 per month until Aug 2025, and bills come in at around £141 per month at the moment, which includes electricity, gas, water, council tax and internet, so the total you’ll pay per month is £880 (which is insane for an en-suite in Greenwich!🥹)
On-street parking available, you'd just have to pay for a permit.
A 5-minute walk to Westcombe Park Station, or 10 minute bus to North Greenwich Underground. A 10 min walk west and you’re at a huge IKEA, and have a massive retail park that has nearly every supermarket and high street retail outlet you could need. Greenwich town centre is a short 20 min walk the other way.
It's a really friendly house where everyone chips in to keep the communal areas clean, and sometimes we have nice games evenings so it's social while you still have your own private space.
Viewings will be held next week and w/c 26 Sept. The letting agency will then need to do standard checks.
Move in date is Oct 1st as I’ll be moving out Sept 30th, and you’d be signing onto the contract. Deposit will be £673 (payable to myself) which will secure the room.
