A large, bright double room is available in a well kept Victorian terraced property on Mitcham Road. The room is fully furnished and is located on a quiet residential street, close to Central Park. The property is a 15-20 minute walk from East Ham station and a short walk from High Street North which has an abundance of shops, cafes and other amenities.

The property has a large living room, with a separate dining area and a good-sized galley kitchen. There is also a small garden.

Current housemate
Amy has lived in the property for around a year and a half, is 35 and enjoys cooking, eating out, going to the gym, theatre, travelling and dancing.

The area and transport

A bit about the area – I own the property and lived there myself for 3 years before moving in with my partner. The things I particularly liked was Central Park and its Café, which sells the most amazing homemade bread and cakes. The proximity to the Greenway, this is a cycling / walking route which takes you to Stratford in about 15 minutes and Hackney in about 25-30 minutes (if cycling). The Red Lion and the Boelyn pub are both within walking distance of the house and do a great Sunday Roast. It is also an ideal location to commute into the City (around 20 minutes into Monument on the district line). As mentioned, East Ham Station is a short walk or bus journey away and Beckton (DLR) and Custom House (Elizabeth Line) are also short bus journeys away. The neighbours on the street are lovely which is a massive plus !
