I am looking for a lovely person
for a double bedroom in my lovely light and spacious (1000sq feet) 2 bedroom flat in Putney.

The flat makes up half a Victorian house. The bedrooms are on different floors, both looking out over a garden - they feel private and the whole flat is flooded with sunlight (west facing).

The first bedroom (one for this listing) is Lshaped with high ceilings and pretty wrought iron bed (w. memory foam mattress). There is a large window which overlooks a garden. There is tons of storage space - 3 door wardrobe, 2 chests of drawers and floor to ceiling shelves on one wall.

There is a large eat in kitchen with plenty of workspace for keen cooks and a table that will sit up to 10 people, gas hob and various gadgets The kitchen was entirely redone a few years ago and looks beautiful with granite worktops, sparkly softclose cupboards and new appliances.

The top floor is a huge sitting room with lots of windows, pretty furniture and rooftop views (and an HDTV if you'd rather gaze at that). There is space to add a desk if you are working from home there, or indeed in the bedroom.

There is a main bathroom (bath + over-head shower) plus a further shower room.

Storage-wise, there is a walls worth of bookshelves plus a room's worth of storage space in the eaves. If you are working from home, there are three different rooms to pick from to offer a change of scene; the bedroom in front of the window, in the sittingroom and at the kitchen table.

The flat is a 6 minute walk from east Putney tube down a well lit residential road which feels safe at night. It's 12 minutes from Putney mainline (connects to Clapham Jn & Waterloo in 15mins), 10 mins from Putney high st and 5 mins to 3 supermarkets (Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Coop).

Wandsworth park is a couple of minutes away and the river is very close if you like running (or rowing). Wimbledon Common and onto Richmond park are about 10mins run in the other direction. There is a weekly cleaning lady who is also available to do extra ironing. You can get a residents permit for parking. There is a metal hook for securing a bicycle in the front garden.
