Our flatmate is sadly moving home, so we have a room available in our lovely Putney flat. The room is spacious and at the front of the house and has a large walk-in wardrobe. The room would come with double bed, chest of drawers, and smaller bedside drawers, but the desk is not included! The walls are painted purple, so hopefully you like some colour haha!
We live in a spacious, three bed flat, with a very large living room and modern kitchen and bathroom. The flat is situated in an old house, which is split into three flats. We share an entrance hall with our neighbours. We have access to a big garden, which is lovely in summer. The gardening and cleaning of the entrance hall is paid for by the landlady. There is street parking available nearby, but you would need to buy a parking permit for around £150 a year.
The flat is a 10-minute walk from East Putney tube station (zone 2+3) on the district line, a 15-minute walk from Putney train station, and a 15 minute walk from Putney itself. Wandsworth and Southfields are also a 15-20 minute walk. The area is safe and quiet, but still well-connected. Gyms and supermarkets are within 10-15 minute reach.
Emily and I both work in marketing and are 26 years old. Francesca wfh full-time and I wfh 3 days a week, so the room would be great for a hybrid worker.
We met at uni and have been friends ever since. We like chilling and chatting in the living room on the evenings, the occasional glass of wine, and going out for dinner! We would love to find a flatmate, who would like to get involved and be friends too! :)
It would be great to live with someone tidy and we do have a weekly cleaning rota. On week nights, we would prefer if there's not much noise later on.
Ideally, we would be hoping to live with another girl, aged 24-30, who has a job.
Looking for someone to take over the rent from 6th December. Our lease ends on 6th April 2025. We have been here three years, so ideally would like to renew the lease for a further year from April, as long as landlady is happy with this.
Rent is £824 a month + bills. I would guess bills are an extra £100 a month. Being in Putney we get the cheap Wandsworth council tax too!
We would like to show people around as soon as possible and start moving forward with the next steps. We have told the landlady and the new flatmate will need to sign a contract and pay a deposit.
