*Newly Decorated* Double room in East Putney home!

Hi there. My name is Zita and I have a double room to rent in my large 5 bedroom, beautifully decorated, recently refurbished to a very high standard, lively home in East Putney. Please note that this is not your standard house share as such. It's more of a spare room in a large house with myself, one other tenant and occasional adult children visiting. Best suited to short term rentals or longer-term up to one year.

The house is perfect in terms of transport links. East Putney tube station (District Line) is a 5-10 minute walk away from the house. There is also good access to buses into central London. Putney overground station is a 15 minute walk away. The house is close to a large park (Wandsworth Park) and river walk and many gyms and pubs. There are direct links into central London. Many supermarkets are within walking distance and corner shops within a couple of minutes. We also have a lovely pub, the Queen Adelaide, at the bottom of the road. We are also close to Wandsworth, Battersea, Barnes, Fulham, Chelsea, Clapham, Brixton Hammersmith and Wimbledon. There is free parking after 6:30pm and pre 8:00am.

In terms of the room, it is light, airy and newly redecorated, so very clean. There is a brand new sofa, large TV and memory foam mattress. The rent is £950 per month for longer term rentals, £275 per week for short term. All bills are included. Bills include gas, electricity, internet and a cleaning lady twice per week, excluding bedrooms. The room comes fully furnished, including a standard size double bed, 2 seater sofa, built in hanging and clothing storage (and underbed storage) and a plasma TV. A newly revamped, shared bathroom is on the floor below.

In terms of the house, there is not a shared lounge but you can use the kitchen/diner for cooking and eating. Non smokers are preferable. We also have a Jack Russell puppy dog.

There is an optional additional single room next to the double available at £40 per night (inc. bills) for visiting friends or family. Please enquire if you'd like more information.

I run a staffed office, working in the music industry, from home at the end of the garden, so you would also need to be aware of this from the hours of 10am to 7pm.

This opportunity would best suit a professional in full-time employment. Short term lets are fine. Min 3 x months. Short term lets are charged at £275 per week. I'd ask for one month's deposit and one month's rent upfront. I'd also require one month's written notice on leaving. There is a £50 deep cleaning charge on vacating the room, which is deducted from the deposit.

References are required. The room is available to view now with a move in date from mid February. Please apply with a photo and a bit more information about yourself, what you do for work etc. I will then do an initial phone call or hello on Zoom and then if we get on, we'd arrange a viewing.
