I’m looking for someone to take my room in a large, modern, furnished flat in East Putney. The apartment is a real gem (without being biased) and very close to transport links, restaurants, green spaces and shops.
I’m moving in to a room closer to work with friends but have absolutely loved this flat, I’m very sad to leave.
The room comes furnished, and has its own ensuite bathroom, built-in wardrobe space, and has plenty of natural light.
The shared living room and kitchen is very generous, and comes equipped with pots & pans, cutlery etc. We also have a balcony which is perfect for summer.
THE DETAILS:
The rent is £915pcm (such a deal for en suite!). Deposit is £815. Bills are around £70-£100 per month depending on season, and this includes electricity, gas, water, internet and council tax (band E).
The room will be available anytime between the 3rd and the 16th of Feb, I’m quite flexible but the earlier you can take over the better. Our current contract runs until 17th October, so this is the minimum term, but can be extended if there is interest. The landlord is lovely and very responsive.
ABOUT THE FLATMATES:
Alex has been living in the flat for 3 years and works as an architect, his girlfriend - Christine is a psychologist, Laura is a baker, and Kat is a teacher. They’re all incredibly chill and welcoming, pretty social in the evenings and love a kitchen chat, but they also value quiet time and private space.
They are looking for a responsible, (reasonably) clean and considerate flatmate who will treat the place as their own. No couples unfortunately as our insurance only covers 5 people.
ABOUT THE AREA:
East Putney station is about 10 minutes walk away. Putney train station is about 15 minutes away and can take you into Clapham Junction or Waterloo very quickly. There's also a bus stop right outside which is handy.
We are within walking distance of Putney Heath, Wimbledon Common, and the Thames Path, which are all great for walks. We are also very close to both Putney highstreet and Wandsworth, which have lots of shops, restaurants, gyms etc.
