The flat

This lovely maisonette flat is split across three levels, with the hallway, kitchen and living room on the first floor, one bedroom and the main bathroom on the second floor and two more bedrooms on the top floor. One of the best things about the flat is the gorgeous living room, which is bathed in light on a sunny day, and is ideal for cosying up on the sofa in the evening and watching TV or hanging out in.

The room

This bedroom is tucked away on the top floor of the building. Ample storage, including bed and wardrobe. Great en-suite bathroom.

The flatmates

Jake (31), manages a sales team so is out of flat Mon – Thurs. Would ideally like to find the right balance between keeping up with our own busy lives and catching up every now and then.

The location

The flat is well located for transport, at a 15 minute walk from Putney train station and Putney Bridge tube station, as well as a 2 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. It’s a 2 minute walk from Lower Richmond Road and all the shops, cafes and the handy Sainsburys and there is also a Lidl around a 10 minute walk away too. The flat is also a 5 minute walk from the embankment, which is wonderful for walks and ideal for rowing if you belong to one of the clubs.

The rent is £1050 p/m with bills coming in at around £100, which includes a fortnightly cleaner. The deposit is £1153.80 (not £1100 as I had to say above - SpareRoom wouldn't let me alter this). Due to one of the clauses of the tenancy, you will have to be earning at least £27,000 p/a in order to be eligible.
