We are looking for someone to join us in our large, modern, furnished flat in East Putney. The apartment is a real gem (without being biased) and very close to transport links, restaurants, green spaces and shops.
The reason for the room becoming available is because the current occupant is sadly moving back to Australia.
The room comes furnished, and has a modest (& quirky) ensuite bathroom & built-in wardrobe space.
The shared living room and kitchen is very generous, and comes equipped with pots & pans, cutlery etc. We also have a balcony which is perfect for summer.
THE DETAILS:
The rent is £915pcm. Deposit is £815. Bills are around £70-£90 per month depending on season, and this includes electricity, gas, water, internet and council tax (band E).
The room will be available from the 9th December. Our current contract runs until 16th October 2026, so this is the minimum term with the possibility to extend. The landlord is lovely and very responsive.
ABOUT US:
Alex (32) has been living in the flat for 3 years, and works as an architect. His girlfriend Christine (30) is a psychologist, Laura (26) is a baker, and Kat (25) is Secondary teacher.
We are social in the evenings and like to hang out in the kitchen, but also value our quiet time and private space.
We are looking for a responsible, (reasonably) clean and considerate flatmate who will treat the place as their own. No couples unfortunately as our insurance only covers 5 people.
ABOUT THE AREA:
East Putney station is about 10 minutes walk away. Putney train station is about 15 minutes away and can take you into Clapham Junction or Waterloo very quickly. There's also a bus stop right outside which is handy.
We are within walking distance of Putney Heath, Wimbledon Common, and the Thames Path, which are all great for walks. We are also very close to both Putney highstreet and Wandsworth, which have lots of shops, restaurants, gyms etc.
