I’m looking for a new housemate for this lovely ensuite double bedroom in a bright Victorian split-maisonette.
The room is tucked away in the loft, meaning you’ll have the entire upper floor to yourself. It’s a real private sanctuary with plenty of storage and three windows that let in loads of natural light (and a nice breeze!), with green views. While the ensuite is compact, it’s a full suite with a shower and sink, all for your private use.
The Flat
The flat has a traditional Victorian layout. While the connecting hallway is a bit narrow, it opens up into a generously sized living room and a separate kitchen, a rare find that gives us plenty of room to spread out.
Location: Great spot in Putney! A short walk to the District Line (East Putney) and South Western Trains (Putney Station). You can be at Embankment or Waterloo in about 20-25 minutes.
Parking: If you have a car, there’s street parking available with a council permit.
I’m looking for someone who wants to make this a proper home. I value a clean and tidy space and keep the communal areas neat, so I’m looking for someone who feels the same.
The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, but definitely friendly! I’m always up for a catch-up over coffee or a movie night in the living room, but I’m also very respectful of the need for downtime and personal space. I’m also easy-going about guests: partners and friends are more than welcome, as long as we’re both mindful of the shared home.
The Practical Bits
Bills: Roughly £160/month (includes Council Tax, TV Licence, Internet, Water, Gas, and Elec). Great news: we’re on a fixed gas/elec tariff, so no surprises there!
Admin: The landlord will run affordability checks and would like a housemate who can provide previous landlord references.
Furniture: Please note that the flat is being offered mostly unfurnished, as the current furniture belongs to the leaving tenant. A few items might remain, but it’s largely a blank canvas ready for your own belongings.

I’d love to show you around! I’m available for viewings between July 1st – 5th and again from July 25th onwards. Between July 6th and 24th, my current housemate can show you the room, but let’s have a quick video call first to introduce ourselves.
