Putney Flat

Hi, I’m James. I’m looking for someone to take my flatmate’s bedroom in our flat as he is moving away for work. It’s a bright and cosy double bedroom available in a lovely characterful flat in Putney (SW15). The room has plenty of built-in wardrobe/storage space, with a large window bringing in lots of natural light. You’d have your own bathroom all to yourself. My room is on the top floor with my own bathroom.

The flat has a spacious living room with a large bay window, comfortable sofas, dining table and plenty of natural light. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen with everything you’d need.

The location is fantastic too — you’re close to Putney High Street, the River Thames, Wandsworth Park and plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafés and shops, while still being on a quiet residential street.

The flat is exceptionally well connected:

* East Putney Underground – ~3 minutes’ walk, giving easy access to the District Line and onwards towards central and west London.
* Putney railway station – ~5 minutes’ walk, with South Western Railway services towards Waterloo and other destinations.
* Putney Bridge Underground – ~10 minutes’ walk.
* There are also numerous bus routes nearby, with stops on Upper Richmond Road and Putney Bridge Road.

Putney itself is also a great area for getting around by bike or on foot, with the river, parks and plenty of amenities all close by.

About me
You’d be living with me, James. I’m 27, work full-time and am born and raised in London. I’m friendly, sociable and enjoy having a chat or grabbing a drink together, but I’m also respectful of having our own space and downtime.

I’m looking for someone who is clean, considerate and easy-going, and ideally someone who wants the flat to feel like a home rather than simply somewhere to sleep.

Overall, it’s a really comfortable, bright and characterful flat in a brilliant part of Putney, with excellent transport links and lots of space to relax.
