Large double room available in East Putney

Hi,

We have a large double room available for rent in our 5-bed house in East Putney, as I will be starting a new job in Manchester.

The room is very spacious with plenty of natural light and shares the main bathroom with 2 other housemates (2 of us have en-suites). There is also a separate toilet, plus we have a large communal kitchen and living room.

We’re all professionals in our twenties (Holly: 29, TV content distribution 📺, Kayley: 25, charity sector 🌍, Max: 29, software engineer 💻, Ella: 25, marketing🍫) and enjoy spending time together, so we're looking for someone sociable. Everyone also has their own routines and plans, so there’s a good balance between hanging out and having your own space. We usually have a trashy TV show on the go, plus the occasional pub quiz, games night or exploring a new food spot. We’re all clean and tidy in the shared spaces and would expect the same from you.

As we are currently 3 girls and 2 guys, we'd ideally be looking for another guy to replace me and keep the balance.

We’re in a great location: a 10 min walk to East Putney tube station, 15-20 min walk to Putney overground station, bus stops right next to the house going towards Clapham Junction. Plus a 10 min walk into town with Southside shopping centre, lots of gyms, coffee shops, yoga studio, cinema etc. Wandsworth park is also a 10 min walk away.

Rent is £796.74 per month plus bills which come to around £70 each per month (water, gas/electric, broadband, TV license, council tax (Band E)). A cleaner comes every 2 weeks (paid by the agency). Our contract renews each year in April, so there may be a slight rent increase then FYI.

Move-in date is ideally Sunday 1st November. We’ll be holding in-person viewings in the evenings of the 22nd and 23rd September.
