Hello everyone,

I’m looking for a flatmate to replace me in this two-bedroom, two-bathroom, bright and spacious second-floor flat in the East Village in the Olympic Park in Stratford.

The room:

The room available is a large double bedroom with en-suite furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and 2 side tables. There’s also plenty of space for a desk.

The flat:

The flat is located right on the edge of the park and has a lovely view of leafy green trees in the summer and of the city skyline in the distance in the winter. To the left you can also see the Olympic Stadium.

The flat is modern and clean with a large living area and open plan kitchen and dining area. There is a 6-seater dining table, 2 large sofas and coffee table making it a lovely space to relax. The kitchen comes fully equipped with fridge/freezer, induction hob, oven, dishwasher, washing and drying machine etc etc.

There is a shared bathroom and a good sized balcony which is a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine at the end of the day whilst watching the sunset.

Located in the heart of the East Village, the flat is a stone's throw away from all the amenities we have available here (cafes, bars, restaurants, deli, butchers…) and the local Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose supermarkets are a 5-10 minute walk away.

Local transport: Stratford International station, the DLR and Overground is about 5-10 minutes away and Stratford station (underground) isn't much further.

The Olympic park is right outside and Victoria Park is a 15 minute walk.

A little bit about who you'll be living with:

You'll be sharing with one other flatmate called Margy who is a mid-30s professional whom I've lived with for the past 4 years and I can vouch that she is a wonderful person who is clean, tidy and easy to live with.

Important Details:

Rent: £1418 excl bills (though wifi is included)
Bills: ~£150 /month each
Parking is available at extra cost

Move in date: from 1st Nov

No deposit and no agency fees

The flat is a joint tenancy with Get Living (the landlord). They have a simple process for setting up the lease and will ask for proof of income and references.

I’ve had a great experience with Get Living so far (unlike every other landlord in London I’ve had), with them responding really quickly to a couple of minor repairs I've requested.
