Description
The location: We are in a secure apartment building with fob access at the main building door and front door to the flat, located in the Olympic Village in Stratford. You can access Stratford International, Stratford, Westfield, and Hackney Wick all within a ten-minute walk, as well as the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - plenty of amenities within easy reach!
The room: Is a sunny ensuite, furnished with a double bed and mattress, one bedside table, a chest of drawers, and a large wardrobe, so there is plenty of space for storage. (Desk in photos not included.) The room will be available from November 14th 2024. The new person will replace our current housemate in the tenancy.
The flat: Has a sweet, cosy open-plan kitchen/lounge area, also fully furnished, that is shared between all housemates, plus two other bedrooms and a shared bathroom. We have a big deck as we are on the first floor of the building, so there's plenty of room for growing if you have a green thumb, as well as access to the larger open space that is shared between the buildings on the block. There is lock-up bicycle storage in the building basement, and you have the option of applying for a parking space under the building if you have a car. We also have broadband included in the rent, and share the remaining bills (water, heating, electricity, and council) split 3 ways. Bills are approx 100-120 per month, council tax band is D.
Flatmates you will be living with: I am from Hong Kong, moved to the UK in 2019 to study and currently a physiotherapist at one of the East London Trusts. Greg (Grigoris), 30, is from Greece and works in architecture in central London. We are currently looking for a flatmate to take over the ensuite.
We'd love someone mature, independent and considerate to fit in with the household, as we like to be easy-going with no fuss. We are an LGBT-friendly flat!
We'd expect you to be someone that always cleans up after yourself, and chips in whenever household needs start to run low. We're both non-smokers/no drugs and would like you to be the same - in short, we just want a decent, drama-free professional.
