Description
Hey there, my housemates are looking to move out and so I'm looking for a replacement for the en-suite double.
I'm a software engineer working hybrid: 2 days a week in Soho and the remainder from home. I tend to work late into the evenings so not always the most available person. But definitely looking for a friendly vibe in the flat. Outside of work I'm into football, gym and movies.
If you're interested in the room then we can have quick chat over message about suitability and how the contract works, and see if we can organise a viewing. I'm happy to do virtual viewings if that's easier.
The move-in date is negotiable but that's to work with the guys that are leaving.
Property Info(shamelessly stolen from Get Living's website)
If you are looking for the close-knit community feel of a suburban village, surrounded by greenery and biodiversity, but want to be close the action of the city, East Village is the one for you. With wetlands on the doorstep, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and East Bank, an emerging district of innovation, creativity and culture, East Village in Stratford unlocks a new kind of London living.
The property is a modern refurnished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. The living room leads out onto a private balcony overlooking the City of London to the West. This home comes furnished and neutrally decorated, with wooden floors in the living area, carpet in the bedrooms and underfloor heating throughout.
All 400 metres from Stratford International Station and Westfield Shopping Centre. Get Living is changing the way people rent. No fees, No hassle. East Village offers all the advantages of a central London location, but with the added plus of amazing green space. It’s set in 67 acres of parkland – perfect for those who love an active lifestyle, but with quiet corners like the Wetlands where you can get away from it all. Dotted around its broad, car-free avenues, you will find a brilliant selection of hand-picked artisan shops, coffee shops, bars and independent restaurants for all occasions.
Located in TfL Zone 2/3 East Village is spoilt for choice when it comes to getting around on public transport. Stratford and Stratford International stations provide access to the Underground, Overground, TfL, national rail services and now, the Elizabeth Line that get you into (or out of) London fast:
7 minutes to St Pancras station
8 minutes to Liverpool Street
9 minutes to Canary Wharf
15 minutes to London Bridge
19 minutes to Oxford Circus
Free bike storage and electric charging points across the neighbourhood also help you travel green.
Get Living homes have an energy efficiency rating of B or C, the heating system is similar to a traditional gas setup, but with no boiler in the home. Their homes have either underfloor heating or traditional radiators, where tenants are charged on metered usage, and for any storage of hot water. As a system, this is far more cost effective than electric heaters in rooms. The supply of heating and hot water is provided by the District Network supplier and is fixed, and tenants are unable to choose any other heating supplier.
