Description
We are sad to say goodbye to our current flatmate/ practically brother and are looking forward to have someone just as lovely to fill his double room.
About the flat:
Three bed flat, all rooms quite spacious. Your room has space for a desk if you work from home at all. You’ll share a bathroom with a very clean and organised guy. There is an open plan kitchen with an island looking out over on to the dining table and living room, with an additional winter garden and views of the Olympic Park.
Bills come out to about £160 in winter, and £120/130 in the summer, including a cleaner every two weeks and council tax.
About the room:
Comes furnished with the bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. Shoe rack and desk in photos not included, but shows you’ve got loads of space for a wfh set up.
About the area:
Overlooking the park with lots of access to green space, 7 minute walk to Hackney Bridge market and Hackney Wick, full of great cafes and bars. The walk to Stratford International DLR is 7 minutes, or 15 minutes to Stratford Station. Waitrose and M&S are in the Station but we also do regular online orders from Sainsbury’s as well. Get Living maintain the property super well, with security walking around the park frequently. Victoria Park is also around the corner.
Stratford International gets you to Kings Cross in seven minutes, and we’ve also got the Elizabeth Line that’s super handy.
About the flatmates:
I work in Climate Finance at Canary Wharf (commute is insanely easy) while your other potentially new flatmate works in ski sales from home. We are the definition of wholesome, cooking together most eves and treat each other very much like family. We like to be active but love food more, and a night out every so often. Jack works most weekends from home so if you’re a big partier with loads of late nights, this might not be the ideal place for you.
We’ve put a lot of care into decorating the house so that’s it’s nice and cozy! We’ve got a cleaner come in every two weeks to give everything a nice once over. This should also feel like your home and encourage you to add your personal touch.
About you:
Would ideally like someone to move in that would feel comfortable to get involved in our cooking and watching movies in the evening, but obviously also happy for you to do your own thing!
Expected move in date is mid-August, which includes time for reference checks by Get Living. We’re flexible on the exact date so just let us know.
