A spacious double bedroom in the heart of East Village to rent from late-August onwards.

Sadly, due to starting a new job abroad in September, I will be leaving my double room behind after 2 wonderful years here.

The room is a large, bright and spacious double room with a king-sized bed. It comes fully furnished with two bedside tables, a storage unit, a huge window and two floor to ceiling wardrobes that have plenty of space inside.

The flat itself has an open plan living and kitchen area, with plenty of light and space to relax in of an evening. There is a huge balcony which can be an area for storage or relaxing, and a large main bathroom that you would share with one other flatmate that keeps the bathroom very clean and tidy.

You’ll be sharing the flat with two male working professionals, Lee and Tom, both work in the public sector who are clean, polite and down for a chilled evening watching Netflix, but equally are respectful of when you want your own personal time. Both Lee and Tom work full-time and would ideally prefer a flatmate who is a male working professional that is tidy, respectful but up for catch up on some evenings alongside some Netflix or easy TV!

East Village has everything you could need nearby: Stratford International train station and DLR is a 5 minute walk, and Stratford station is a 10 minute walk with access to Central, Jubilee, Elizabeth line to get around London easily. You’ll be 5 minutes away from Westfield Shopping Centre if you need anything, and East Village has a range of local shops and services such as Sainsbury’s and Waitrose within a 5 minute walk. Basically, this is a perfect little hub to access all of London, or the high speed trains to King’s Cross or Kent with no hassle whatsoever.

The flat:
- Large double bedroom with king-sized bed
- Huge storage space with two large floor to ceiling wardrobes and multiple bedside tables.
- Shared bathroom with shower/bath.
- Large open plan kitchen/living area.
- Huge balcony that can be a chill or storage space.
- 2 male working professional flatmates who are kind, respectful and nice to chill out with in the evening but respect each other’s privacy too.

The financials:
- Rent: £967 per month (no deposit needed)
- Bills: These vary but can be roughly £120 per month (this would include heating, electricity, water, etc)
- Wifi: included for free within the rent
- Parking: Parking spaces are available but must be arranged separately through GetLiving.
- Requirement: You need to earn over £30k a year (approximately) to pass the landlord requirements that GetLiving provides. These are usually standard procedure and fairly simply to complete. If not, you will need a UK based guarantor earning over £100k instead.
