Description
I'm moving out of my room across the hall to a bigger bedroom in the house. I have no issues with this bedroom and it is great for WFH should you need it.
THE ROOM is a lovely, bright, and spacious double room. The desk is currently not included in the room but has plenty of room for a desk to WFH (as pictured). Room includes a wardrobe, bedside table, and a tall cabinet. You will be sharing the bathroom with one other housemate.
THE TOWNHOUSE was completely refurbished (new furniture, paint, carpet, etc) just 2.5 years ago and we've kept it in an excellent condition. Entering the house through it's own front door (electronic fob, no messing with keys), you can turn left immediately into one bedroom, or continue up the stairs to the rest of the house.
The first floor consists of a 43ft/13m long open plan kitchen/living/dining space, with two sofas, a coffee table, TV unit, dining table + chairs. Loads of cupboard and fridge space too. Floor to ceiling sliding doors lead out further onto a private patio, which in turn backs on to a communal courtyard. Continuing up the stairs takes you to the 2nd floor, where there is this bedroom and 2 others (including mine).
THE HOUSEMATES aren't all 100% confirmed at the moment as there's a couple people moving out at the same time (there are other rooms available at different price points too). You'll be living with myself and three others but only sharing a bathroom with one person. I am looking for respectful and sociable housemates who will make this townhouse an enjoyable place to live. I currently work in Marketing and WFH twice a week. I am into football and am always up for going out for a drink, while I can also enjoy nights in gaming or watching the TV in the lounge. The bedroom is suitable for either WFH or hybrid roles and the outside table is also great when the weather picks up!
THE AREA is great, with multiple gyms, supermarkets, bars, etc all within a couple mins walk. Westfield and Stratford station are about a 5-10m walk. It's a great location for getting further afield too thanks to Stratford's connectivity - most of Central London is less than 30m away!
Bills average out to £100 each per month (slightly higher in winter, lower in summer). Council Tax Band D. Deposit free (subject to referencing/ income requirements). Secure parking available by separate negotiation with Get Living.
THE CONTRACT expires in February 2025 but there may be an opportunity to renew with Get Living once all housemates have moved into their rooms.
