Lovely double bedroom in a girly East Village flat

We have an opportunity for someone to take a double bedroom in an amazing flatshare at in East Village from 11th October, as our lovely housemate Kirstin is sadly moving out after a wonderful 2.5 years here to start her new adventure in Australia! 🌏

***PLEASE NOTE: We can be extremely flexible, and move in date can be up to a month earlier if you are in a rush!!!!

The Area
Literally can vouch for this area being AMAZING. You are in the modern East Village, a purpose built village for the Olympics back in 2012. Everything is lovely and modern, you are literally a 30 second walk from the Olympic Park and 10 minutes from Hackney Wick, right by the canal with such cool bars and restaurants. Such a vibey area for twenty and thirty somethings! Also 5 minutes from Stratford International DLR and Stratford which is easy for any commute! Such a well connected place, so many station options. Also 5-10 min walk from Westfield Stratford for all your shopping needs !! Fancy going Sephora or Zara in your lunch break? Got ya covered!! 🛍️🛍️

Your Room & Flat
The room is a spacious, bright, furnished double bedroom with shared access (only one other person - Charlotte!) to the large and modern bathroom.

The rest of the house is equally spacious, with an open-plan lounge/kitchen/ diner all furnished with built in Siemens appliances and a large winter garden overlooking the courtyard.

Your Housemates:
The housemates are two working professionals in their late twenties. Here’s a little bio about us which we’ve provided below;

Lucy- Northern. 29 - works in the city mostly In the office. Enjoys wine, Desperate housewives & a party/event/rave (sometimes) 😃 Love a chat with a tea too ☕ (would be canny to have another chilled person to join us in number 30) also partial to occasional pub crawls, dancing & eating good food. If any of those sound like your cuppa tea, let us know 🩷

Charlotte- 27 from Essex. Fitness queen (you’ll find me at f45 most days!), loves to cook up a storm (you'll need to try her crispy Chinese chicken and egg fried rice) and travel also! If you’re also a fitness lover I’d love a gym bud! Work in Market Research in the office 3-4 days a week and love a catch up with a cuppa after work! 💕

Overall, we are looking for someone who is friendly, easy to get along with, and doesn’t mind taking turns cleaning the bathroom (you’ll be sharing with Charlotte) and generally helping keep the place neat and tidy.

We are also looking for females only, and for those in their late twenties if possible please to match the current housemates!

✨ IMPORTANT INFO:
- Rent for the room is £863 PCM
- Bills amount to roughly £85/90 PCM per person (including CT, heating, electric)
⁃ WiFi is included in the rent
⁃ Water bill is usually quarterly at about £75

✨ REALLY IMPORTANT INFO:
(we have had prospective tenants fall through because they failed the below checks. Please please make sure these things are in order before agreeing to take the room 🥲):

- Standard employer references will apply and they typically require you to have a salary of 30x your rent share (so £30k+).
- MUST have good or excellent credit score - GetLiving do a rigorous credit check through Experian, if possible please check your score before applying.
- if you fail the credit check, they may still consider you, but you will need a guarantor
- any guarantor needed MUST earn minimum of £80,016 per annum as it must cover the WHOLE flat rent, not just your share.
- If you drive, we also have a parking space available in the secure underground garage, but this will be at your own additional cost (£120 per month) which you can arrange with GetLiving.
