Hi all,
I live in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment in Hightail Point (Portlands Place, E20) which is a 5 min walk to Stratford International station, a 10 min walk to Stratford station and have Westfield shopping centre and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park just next door.
The room on offer is fully furnished and has its own bathroom (any guests of mine will use my bathroom!). The flat is a corner flat on the 26th floor with lots of light and the BEST views of the city. The building has two co-working spaces, two rooftop gardens, a gym, free gym classes, a full chef kitchen and cinema room that you can book for events for free!
I am a 29 year old professional working in Finance. I often work from home 3 days a week and do have an old small dog who is incredibly friendly and likes to sleep all the time. I will have her at the flat for approximately 3-4 days a week.
I am easy going, clean and enjoy both socialising and keeping myself to myself. I would love to find the same in my future flatmate.
You will be replacing my current flatmate. A change of tenancy normally takes around 15 working days to process according to the agent. The official change of tenancy would need to align with rent date which is 1st of every month therefore move in date would be 1st December 2024.
Any tenant can give 2 month notice at any point (after they have stayed for 3 months) and you would just need to find a replacement to transfer your half of the tenancy agreement.
The Landlord is GetLiving who own most of East Village. They offer speedy repairs and in this particular building, concierge and lockers (similar to Amazon ones) for parcels to be delivered to.
It is essential that your salary is a minimum of 30 times your share of the rent (£47,850). A credit check will be performed by GetLiving and if they deem necessary or if you are a student you would need to arrange a guarantor who earns £97K or above who will guarantee the whole tenancy. If you’re a working professional then the referencing requirements and process is easier.
Bills are approx £150-£170 per month with WiFi being inclusive within the rental price.
