Description
I am moving out of my ensuite room in a modern three-bedroom flat in the East Village in Stratford so we are are looking for someone to move in from mid-October 2025.
The room:
The room has its own ensuite bathroom with shower and comes furnished with a bed, two bedside tables, a chest of drawers and lots of built in storage. The room has a large king sized bed so it is bigger than it looks in photos. The room overlooks the internal courtyard and is very quiet.
The flat:
The flat is situated on the 8th floor and has amazing views over the London skyline out of the floor to ceiling windows! The open plan living room/kitchen is very bright and spacious. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine with plenty of storage. The flat is quiet and well insulated and has underfloor heating for winter and air conditioning for summer. The flat is managed by Get Living who own a lot of the flats in East Village are responsive and get things sorted quickly.
The location:
The flat is located 5 minutes from Stratford International for the DLR and high-speed train to St Pancras and a 15 minute walk from Stratford station which has amazing transport links (the Elizabeth Line, Central Line, Jubilee Line, Overground and DLR).
The flat is right by the Olympic Park so there is plenty of green space and lots of gyms and sporting facilities right on the doorstep. Westfield is a 5 minute walk away and has everything you could need! For supermarkets, there is a large Waitrose and M&S Food in Westfield, as well as smaller shops (Sainsbury’s and Tesco) nearby. East Village has its own cafes and restaurants and Hackney Wick is also 10 minutes away and has plenty of bars and restaurants.
Flatmates:
You will be sharing with two female professionals in their late 20s/early 30s. One works in audit and the other in PR for a charity and both work a mixture from home and in the office. They are both very sporty, enjoying running, gym, swimming and football, but are also happy to chill together watching TV.
About you:
We are looking for a girl aged between 25 and 35 who is a working professional. The landlord requires that you must be earning annually at least 30 times the advertised rent and have the right to live in the UK. Looking for someone who works in the office or a mix of in the office and at home. Sorry no students or couples.
Rent and bills:
Rent is £1219 a month. No deposit is required.
Bills come to approximately £120 a month (council tax, water, gas, electric and WiFi).
The move in date is from 12th October. A new lease is being signed from this date. You are able to leave the flat at any point during the tenancy (after at least 3 months), you just need to find a replacement tenant (never been an issue with this) and there is a 2 month break clause. The current flatmates are looking for someone who wants to stay for a minimum of 6 months-1 year.
