Description
Hi
We are currently looking for a new housemate to join us in our beautiful 3 bed apartment in East Village between Stratford and Hackney Wick from Mid January 2025.
Available room is a large double with a big ensuite with plenty of storage (triple wardrobe, 2 side tables and 1 chest of drawers and plenty more storage throughout the flat) and its lovely modern bathroom and shower.
The room has a large ceiling to floor south east facing window that has nice views out (and can literally see Westfield from it) that gets loads of light and sun (when it happens) but also has privacy curtains and blackout curtains built in and over looks the buildings beautiful communal rooftop garden.
The building has a secure concierge and in our building its own lobby area from which you can relax or work in with armchairs, tables and seating with free secure parcel lockers for deliveries as well as the usual mail boxes.
There is secure underground car parking spaces, these can be rented at an extra cost if you wish but not sure how much as none of us currently have a car.
The building also has complimentary free fast wifi so thats one less bill!
The apartment has a lovely open plan living/dining/kitchen area furnished with beautiful modern furniture with large wrap around windows which give great views and light.
We are lucky as we face out onto the middle green area of East Village with its cafe's and restaurants and communal green spaces and pond and our large main balcony gets great views of central London and Hackney Wick and we also have a smaller Juliette balcony as one of the large windows in the living area slides wide open!
There is a dishwasher, washing machine and clothes dryer also.
It really is a beautiful building and feels more like living in a hotel than a flat!
The building is managed by Get Living who are all about sustainable and affordable living so there is no deposit to be paid! Amazing I Know!
You just have to be able to prove that you have a credit score of good to excellent and that you earn a salary of 30x your monthly rent split which in this case would be about £39.5k.
If not then they ask for a UK beneficiary.
The transport for the area is excellent also with Stratford International and DLR being 2 minutes away and Stratford Tube station being 10 minutes away. It is about 15-20 minutes to Liverpool Street also on Elizabeth or Central line.
We the remaining housemates are 2 young professional guys (AL: 28 British/Romanian works in Hospitality and a soon to be PT & Eric: 33 Irish works for Sony Music) and with the third guy moving into his own place are looking for a similar like minded person to take over his room from Mid January possibly early February (TBC) so there's a little bit of flexibility.
We have secured a new 3 year tenancy also from February 2025 so we want to stay and need a third person.
We are both into fitness/gym, music, socialising in the communal area sometimes, keeping a clean home and pleasant atmosphere to come back to and would like someone similar who would fit in get along with us and help out keeping the place calm clean and relaxed so we're not a party house in the flat but we do relax and watch tv and movies together, chat etc making dinner.
We would also like someone who doesn't work from home or at the very least does 1 or 2 days wfh but doesn't take calls in the communal area as it's everyone's space.
The bills work out at about £150 each p/m also (but could be a bit less soon as we recently got rid of a previous tenants sky package) which includes council tax, thames water, electricity, heating/hot water. No wifi bill as its free for the building residents!
Thanks
(Apologies for the bare place holder pics of the available room we are waiting on better pics from the current roommate, bed will come with a mattress also FYI)
