Description
I'm moving out of my double bedroom in our 4-bedroom townhouse in East Village, Stratford. The move-in date would be around 7th March, though you'd be welcome to move your stuff the week before.
Rent is £1020 per month (paid on 24th of each month; first month would be pro-rata) with no deposit required. This has just increased with annual CPI index so will be fixed for the next year. Our letting agent, GetLiving, require references and an annual income of 30x the monthly rent, so approx £30,000.
The flatmates are a sociable bunch but also have their own stuff going on, so looking for someone sociable, tidy and respectful who to get along with and help make the house a nice, chill place to live.
THE ROOM
- 2nd floor
- Small double bed
- Large cupboard, chest of drawers and bedside drawer (TV not included)
- Shared bathroom with one other flatmate
- Small desk (if you want it - if not, happy to throw it out)
THE HOUSE
- Large open-plan kitchen, living room and dining area on the 1st floor
- Under-floor heating
- Plenty of light with large sliding doors leading out to an enclosed ground-level patio area
- Fob to enter the house and bin-area
FLATMATES
- Luke: Works in events for Wembley Stadium and a big Wolves fan.
- James: Economist for the government and part-time Masters student.
- Yury: Working for FCA mainly in Stratford, loves a night out.
- All flatmates work from home occasionally. If you want, happy to leave my desk and if so there's plenty of space to WFH.
THE AREA
- Approx 5 mins from Stratford International Station: 7 minutes to St Pancras by train and 20 mins from London City Airport by DLR
- Approx 10 mins from Stratford tube station: Elizabeth, Central and Jubilee lines, DLR, Overground and National Rail
- 5 mins to Westfield Centre
- Close to Sainsbury's Local, Waitrose (both a 5 minute walk) and M&S (10 minutes walk)
- 15 mins walk to Hackney Bridge
