Description
We’re looking for someone to take over my bright ensuite room from mid-July in our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat in East Village, Stratford (E20 - Council tax band D).
We're looking for someone to sign on a new tenancy agreement so would need to have all the paperwork sorted by June 14 (ready for a July 22 move in).
The room comes furnished (double bed, 2 nightstands, tall boy dresser, and a large double wardrobe). It also has a private bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink.
The flat is in good condition & really spacious a big open-plan kitchen and living area. We have a large terrace which is great when the weather is nice. The kitchen is fully equipped and there’s plenty of room to cook and hang out.
The location is really convenient. Stratford International & DLR is about a 5 minute walk, and Stratford Station is around 10 minutes away, making it easy to get around London. Westfield is just around the corner for shops, restaurants and the cinema. There are lots of gyms and fitness studios nearby, and Hackney Wick is close if you want to explore cafes, bars and canal walks.
You’ll be sharing with two professional women, who are friendly and easy to get along with. They like cooking but we have quite different schedules so there's usually space in the kitchen to cook without getting in each other's way. We sometimes watch a show together or go for a meal and a show when our schedules line up. It’s a chilled, easygoing flat but we also respect each other's space.
I'm only moving out because I’m buying my own place, otherwise I would not be moving out.
Rent is £1150pcm (inc. internet, excludes others).The rest of the bills are shared and come to around £120 -£150 each per month.
The tenancy agreements run for 3 years which means you don't have to go looking for a different place every year. At the same time, it's easy to move out during the tenancy as long as you find a replacement - we've all taken over contracts from previous tenants and the company who manages the flat is really good at dealing with changes (no fees and quite easy changeover process, but you do need to earn 30x monthly rent to be eligible).
There's also no deposit.
